The Leeds Liverpool Canal match fished very hard this Sunday – a weeks worth of cold rain and 2 nights of frost certainly seemed to put the fish off feeding – in addition the Canal was like the M62 for Cyclists - it didnt help that the Match Secretary put the match on the worst bit of canal for a day like this that we have 
Ian Ward came 1st on the match while John Clark stormed into 3rd place with an impressive, scale tipping 7oz:- Results were:
1: Ian Ward – 1 lb 12oz
2: J Storey – 1lb 9oz
3: J Clark – o lb 7 oz
Hopefully the next match at Coppice Pond will product some better weights – otherwise a few of us might be taking up Golf.
