River Wharf – Kearby

This water is approx 900 yards of mixed fishing and holds a good head of Barbel and Chub.
The water is mainly shallow and waders are reccomended for many of the pegs. The water also offers excellent Grayling fishing in winter.

Main Species: Chub, Barbel ,Grayling, Roach, Dace , Perch, Pike & Eels.
Access is via Pasture Lane – please note the lane is unsuitable for vehicles as it progreese into a steep unmade track. We reccomentd not to take any vehicles down this track as recent rain and floodwater has washed the track away and several trees have fallen down blocking access for vehicles.
We recommend that you travel light when fishing this water , as the steep track can be a bit wearing.
