Approximately 1 mile of mixed fishing, available to members only from 1st April 2012.
Please keep gates closed at all times – livestock is grazed on the riverbank at certain times of the year.
Take A658 towards York – take the last exit at the A59 roundabout (last roundabout before A1)signposted “Goldsborough only” .
Turn right at the left hand bend in road after school, bear left at fork in lane and continue down lane to the end where there is a concreted hardstanding area for parking.
The walk down the track to the fishery entrance takes about 15 minutes and is fairly level going. Parking at Members’ own risk is permitted at entrance gate, but be warned that the track quickly becomes slippy in damp weather,ground clearace may also be an issue in places – check it out before you drive down there, and be careful not to block any access for farm vehicles.
